Expect varying weather – Female artists as Pekka Halonen's guests

The summer exhibition in Halosenniemi is built around themes related to weather phenomena. There are pictures of varying weathers - from stormy skies to sunny summer days, atmospheric sunsets and moonlight in different seasons, and winter landscapes from bitterly cold to thaw. The exhibition has been curated by meteorologist Seija Paasonen, together with Halosenniemi museum staff.

As Pekka Halonen's guests, in the exhibition, there are both well-known and lesser-known talented female artists: Nina Ahlstedt, Emilia Appelgren, Helmi Biese, Fanny Churberg, Elin Danielson-Gambogi, Amélie Lundahl, Anna Sahlstén, Helene Schjerfbeck, Venny Soldan-Brofeldt, Ellen Thesleff, Ada Thilén, Emelie Wallenskiöld, Maria Wiik and Victoria Åberg.
